Last year I got the chance to saw DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition at ArtScience Museum in Singapore with my little sister and my dad. We decided to go there after we had our lunch, so we can explore the whole place with full energy. At that time, there are two exhibitions that are going on in the museum, the other one was The Deep. We love cartoons so much, so we decided to explore DreamWorks Animation only.
DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition show amazing works from the artists and filmmakers who have produced the most beloved animated films. In here you can see the creative journey from sketch to screen. Each film has their own characteristics and uniqueness that the creative make to challenge themselves to think and create beyond our expectations. The exhibition divided into three mainstays of animated film: Character, Story and World, you can see the creative journey from each section.
The first section is Character, in here you can see DreamWorks Animation characters from the beginning of drawings and sketches until its fully develop. You can see how the animators create expressions and make characters comes to life. One of my favorite character is Po from Kung Fu Panda.
