After came back from Hong Kong, I only have one day to rest because I have another getaway to the beach. I have always loved the beach, the smell of the salty water, the wind in my face, sandy toes and the sound of waves all combined to create a sense of calm. We planned to go to Tanjung Putus Island. Tanjung Putus Island is located in Lampung, Sumatra. This is my first time to go there and the trip is also a memorable one.
I knew this trip from Albert and he asked me to join the trip. I asked my sisters to join the trip and we also go with other friends from my university. I didn't know most of them, I only knew a few of my junior from the same major. But they're all are very friendly and welcoming. The most interesting part from this journey is the transportation. For the first time me and my sisters go on a budget travel. We take public transportation to the Merak Harbour and then we cross to Sumatra Island by ship. We go at midnight and arrived at the place in the morning.
Indonesia really have a beautiful beach and nature. I'm awed when I arrived at this place. The sea is really beautiful and clear. We can see a lot of corals and fishes from the surface. This is a really good place for snorkeling, you can play with the fishes and give them bread to eat. The cottage provide free kayak, so we can explore the island using it. This is my first time on kayak and I really enjoying it.
Another best part is I can see pink color sunset at the end of the day. It's really beautiful and priceless. Definitely I will go back to this place again.
