Hong Kong Disneyland! (Part II)

10:50 PM

Still from Hong Kong Disneyland, we continue our journey in this magical land. After we rides many of  the attractions, it's time for us to see the entertainment. The first entertainment we see is Festival of The Lion King. I always love musical and I really enjoy watching this. The song reminded me of my childhood when I watched Lion King for the first time in 1994. All the memories are still there and I love it even more now. You can watch this show at Theater in The Wild in Adventureland. The show plays four times in a day, you can check the show time at the information board in front of the theater or at the park show schedule flyer.

After we see the king of jungle, we continue our magical journey to watch The Golden Mickey. The Golden Mickey is musical show presented in the style of an awards ceremony. There are five award categories: heroism, symphony, villains, friendship and romance up for grab. All the nominations are from Disney movie character. Sadly this show has closed on July 26, 2015, but there will be a new show called "Mickey and The Wondrous Book" which will start on November 2015.

The Golden Mickey Award was opened by Pluto, Goofy and Donald Duck.

Time flies quickly here, it's nighttime already and we prepare to wait at the Main Street, U. S. A. to watch "Disney Paint the Night" Parade. When the parade began, it really lights up the night. You can see our favorite Disney's character glowing and paint the night with their magical appearance. Tonight Hong Kong Disneyland transformed into outdoor party with vibrant colors and cheerful music.

Mickey & friends made the parade finale feels complete. They really illuminate the streets of Hong Kong Disneyland. After the parade finished, we are looking for food because we are very hungry. Unfortunately it suddenly rains and we didn't bring any umbrella, so we just eat at the nearest restaurant. Luckily there is Corner Cafe around the block. Corner Cafe is a Victorian indoor diner with collection of vintage Coca-Cola memorabilia. You can taste Middle-American and Chinese comfort foods. Me and my friends decide to share our dinner, we ordered an asparagus salad and a meatball pasta.

Last but not least, don't forget to catch the final magical entertainment "Disney in The Stars" Fireworks.
